Marilyn Nicholl is experienced in both one to one and group counselling. In addition to
working in her private practice, she has been a core tutor on Diploma level Counselling trainings.
Ms Nicholl has lectured in Psychology, Counselling, Counselling Skills
approach, Inter-personal Skills and Study Skills, at university and college
levels, including work with The University of Edinburgh, Queen Margaret
University College and Glasgow Caledonian University. Her consultancy work
has included research on Management Styles within the Scottish Prison Service. Her particular research interest is in the field of psychological adjustment to
parenthood and she has special expertise in working with young people
and parents living in separated families.
She has been awarded full accreditation by C.O.S.C.A., (Counselling in Scotland's professional body), as a Diploma Level Counselling Trainer and adheres to their code of conduct.
