Submitting this form by email will only provide a tentative reservation for a place for your son/daughter. Please print this form and remember to sign the agreement below and enclose the enrolment fee in order to confirm the reservation.

Fees include ENROLMENT (£150), FULL-BOARD HOST FAMILY ACCOMMODATION, TUITION (18 hrs per week, max 12 per teacher), ACTIVITIES, EXCURSIONS (including admissions). TRANSFERS TO/FROM EDINBURGH AIRPORT are also included; however, for pupils classed as 'unaccompanied minors' there will be a supplementary transfer fee of £25. Fees do not include a bus pass (£12 per week) or pocket money (we recommend £15-£25 per week).

One-to-one tuition is available at £20 per hour, minimum 2 hours per course.

Fees for pupils who do NOT require accommodation are minus £110 per week. Please tick

 
  ENROLMENT AND PAYMENT
  • In order to reserve a place on a course, please send the completed Enrolment Form with the Enrolment Fee of £150 and 2 passport photos.. The remaining fees must be paid by no later than 3 weeks before the start of the course.
  • Fees should be paid by means of a Banker's Cheque, drawn in £'s Sterling on a British bank, made payable to the Hamilton School of English. Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer or Paypal — details available on request. Failure to pay in this way may result in additional charges.
 CONDITIONS OF AGREEMENT
  • The Enrolment Fee of £150 will be refunded if we are unable to offer a place on the course.
  • Additional charges may be made if the above instructions for payment are not followed.
  • Students should arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday.
  • Additional charges of £35/night will be made if a student requires accommodation outwith the course dates.
  • In case of cancellation, full fees less Enrolment Fee will be refunded provided the cancellation is made more than 3 weeks before the start of the course. If a student cancels within 3 weeks of the start of the course, 50% fees will be refunded.
  • Fees cannot be refunded if, for whatever reason, a student misses part of the course, or if a student has to leave before the end of the course. Parents should arrange appropriate travel insurance.
  • If the student is not from a member country of the European Union, we ask that she/he has appropriate medical insurance.
  • Students are expected to attend and participate in all scheduled school activities and must return from evening activities by an agreed time. They are encouraged to spend their free time with host families. Written permission from parents, as well as verbal permission from the principal and host family, is required if the student wishes to go out on evenings when there are no scheduled activities. A student who does not follow rules may be expelled.
  • Pupils are asked to bring only as much luggage as they can carry without assistance.
